HAWCOAT Park hope home comforts come up trumps as they host Wigton in the North Lancs/Cumbria League.

Elsewhere Park seconds and Cumbria League clubs Millom and Windermere hit the road, while Furness have no game.

Hawcoat Park v Wigton

HAWCOAT Park are back on home ground as they look to take a North Cumbrian scalp in the shape of Wigton.

Last week's disappointing 41-7 defeat at Keswick is firmly behind them as Park hope to build on the new year home win over Fleetwood.

Skipper Brad Morrow sees the return of most of his troops, and he has Mike Lightfoot and Alfie White joining him in the back row.

John Donnan stays in the second row with Ash Mowat, as the more than competent front row of Ryan Milner, Adam Grainger and Andy Kent look to get on top in the tight right from the off.

A change to proceedings sees James Howden move to scrum half, with George Smith pulling on the number 10 shirt.

There are changes out wide as well, as Glenn Kaighan and Lewis Sayle look to open up Wigton with their pace and swerving runs.

With Chris Burns in the centres alongside rugby league ace Ryan Clegg and backed up by the superb Blain Marwood, the team certainly appear to have the firepower to take the points.

Cockermouth v Millom

MILLOM travel to Cockermouth and are expecting a tough challenge in this Cumbria League clash.

After the disappointment of losing 46-7 at home to Furness last week, Adam Redhead is expecting a positive reaction from his young squad.

Millom are also missing captain Trevor Dixon and Joe Laydon who are away, plus injured duo Joe Tomlinson and Joe Moyes.

Nevertheless, the team will pull together and give a big performance.

The starting front row will see Ian Cummings, Dean Doyle and Steven Watson taking them on up front, with Keiron Coulson, alongside Callum Loughran, in the engine room.

In the back row Matty Jordan and Craig Mounsey join club coach Adam Redhead who will be pulling a number eight shirt on.

Robbie Pattinson and the experienced Chris Park are the half-back partners, with centres Ryan Carter and Jarty Robinson looking to take good clean ball. Hoping to get space out wide are Sy Robinson and Kyle Barnes and Jordan Moyes continues at full-back.

Blackburn v Hawcoat Park seconds

FOLLOWING Last week's brilliant 74-7 win over Clitheroe, Hawcoat seconds travel to Blackburn in an effort to claim back second place in the North West Intermediate League.

There’s a number of changes due to holidays and work commitments which see Paul Woodburn return from the first team, along with Rodni Odandi and Will Coles, who is recovering from a hamstring strain.

Last week's conversion king Mark Hall could move back to his favored second row position alongside big Luke Shaw.

Mike Gibson’s return from injury last week was influential and no doubt sees him line-up up front with Woodburn and Ryan Brown.

Dave Wynne controls the back line which sees the outstanding Euan James pulling the strings from stand-off, with the returning Rob Shepherd possibly joining Wynne at centre.

Out wide, Adam Armstrong and Jay Crowe although will be hopeful of keeping their shirts, along with Col Wright at full-back. But with Keenan Cotton making a good impression, that could change.

Matt Robson, Connor Vetes, Adam Williamson and Joe Dalton also throw their hats into the ring, giving the squad a really strong look.

Carlisle v Windermere

DAWES Meadow hasn't seen a game played on it for three weeks - and tomorrow is no exception as Windermere are on the road for a fourth week on the trot as they take on Carlisle away in the Cumbria League Cup.

The Ambers were victors at the Warwick Road club a couple of weeks ago so they will be hoping for more of the same.

They go unchanged as captain Jamie Hardman, Dan Harrison and Luke Todd are the enforcers in the front three with Phil Murphy and Tadhg Butler teaming up in the second row.

Conor Maher, Josh Dawson and Johnny Benson are in the back row and need to be first to the breakdown to give clean ball to scrum-half Liam McKinnon.

Bertie Hodgson can play some great rugby at times if given time and space, and will no doubt feed Neil Piggott and Moses Dawson in the centres.

The men outside them are Dave Wiggins and Tom Atkinson who - on their day - are more than capable of finishing off moves in the back division.

With Andy Duncan at full-back and a strong bench they will be hoping for better luck as they aim to progress.
