THE Furness Crown Green Association Senior bowling team play their final match of the season against East Lancashire this Sunday.

After losing 18-14 against both Ormskirk and South Lakes, Furness beat Dudley 19-13 in their most recent match.

East Lancashire lost their opening fixture 22-10 at Dudley, before going on to beat South Lakes 24-8 and Ormskirk 21-11.

Furness need to emulate the 21-11 result from when the two teams met in 2015 to be promoted back into Division Three.

Any kind of win will result in Furness remaining in the division while defeat would see the Cumbrians relegated to a division they last plied their trade in back in 2003. The home leg is at Walney Park and everybody is welcome to go along and support the players.

The match starts at 2pm, with the home team practising from 1.15 to 1.30pm.
