An 8-1 triumph over Labour Club saw them close the gap to just three points, with a game in hand.
Wanderers were 6-3 victors at Cross Keys, the same score by which third-placed Knights overcame Labour Club.
Mick Garnett hit the highest knock-up of the night, checking out with 87 for the Harbour as they edged Hindpool 5-4.
