SUGAR Ray Leonard - one of the all-time greats of boxing - is on his way to Barrow in November.
Leonard won world titles in five weight divisions and has a place in the International Boxing Hall of Fame. He was named fighter of the decade in the 1980s and won a gold medal at the Montreal Olympic Games in 1976.
An evening with Sugar Ray Leonard will take place at The Forum, Barrow, on Saturday November 26, when the American superstar will talk about his amazing career and his life outside the ring. There will also be also comedy, plus a memorabilia auction and raffle.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Monday (October 3) and are available from the Forum Box Office on 01229 820000.
Standard tickets will cost £30. VIP tickets, which include premium seating, a photo with Leonard and a ticket to win personally-signed glove, cost £60.
The show will end at 10.30pm to enable people to watch the Anthony Joshua fight in on big TV screens in the area.
