A FAB four comprising of youngsters Lewis Smith, Ethan Holt and Lewis Symon and senior Josh Jones will do battle for Barrow ABC at tomorrow's South Lakeland Freemasons dinner and boxing event.

The Brook Street quartet will lace up their gloves at the annual show held at the Cumbria Grand Hotel, in Grange over Sands.

The sell-out event is always popular with fight fans, and doubles up as an invaulable charity fund-raiser.

More than £190,000 has been raised for various good causes from the event down the years, and boxing committee chairman Gary Rogerson said: "Charity and helping others is at the very heart of Freemasonry.

“The boxing evening raises funds which we are then able to distribute to many good causes at our presentation night later in the year.

“We are very excited about this year's event as it should see the total amount raised over the years surpass the £200,000 mark.

“We are of course very grateful for the generous backing of the sponsors who help make it such a successful occasion."

Eleven good causes benefited from last year's show, ranging from Ulverston Town Band to Ostley House and MIND in Furness

In addition, Furness Catholic ABC, Barrow ABC and Kendal Boxing Club also received donations.
