HAWCOAT Park will aim to keep the pressure on West Lancs League Division One leaders Poulton tomorrow when the in-form Maroons entertain Wyre Villa.

Park moved into second place in the division with a 3-1 victory at Milnthorpe Corinthians in midweek and have yet to taste defeat after eight matches.

Nathan Reid and Elliot Moore both scored to put Hawcoat in the driving seat before Milnthrope pulled a goal back. The game was put to bed when sub Carl McKay produced a great finish after some neat build-up play.

There is another big game taking place in that division, with Askam United and Dalton United locking horns in derby action at Duddon Road.

Both Premier Division sides have home games as Crooklands Casuals are up against bottom club Hesketh Bank and Vickerstown entertain Tempest United.

The Hoops boast a 100 per cent record after six games, but could be severely tested against Hawcoat, who have won six of their opening eight fixtures.
