RED-HOT goal-scorer Georgia Stanway added another strike to her stunning World Cup repertoire, as England reached the quarter-finals.

The Barrow teenager followed up her goal in the 3-1 win against North Korea and her penalty in the 1-1 draw with Brazil with another strike as the Young Lionesses defeated Mexico 6-1 at the Under-20s event in France.

Stanway hit England's fourth, as they came from 1-0 down at half-time to produce a second-half rout and march into the quarter-finals.

The result in St Malo, Brittany, saw England top Group B, ahead of defending champions North Korea, and set up a quarter-final match with the Netherlands on Friday.

Mexico took the lead on 37 minutes, when Jacqueline Ovalle scored her fourth goal of the tournament with a effort curled into the top corner from outside the area.

However, England were back on level terms four minutes into the second half when Alessia Russo scored, with Chloe Kelly putting them in front.

Lauren Hemp made it 3-1 before Stanway scored a superb individual goal, running from halfway before firing in off the post from 20 yards.

Hemp added two more goals to seal the victory.
