They lost their 50-overs-a-side semi-final against Berkshire at Falkland Cricket Club.

The hosts batted first and made 300 for 9.

Cumberland – the team including Barrovians Jon Miles and Liam Livingstone and Millomite Graham Dawson – fell 50 runs short in their reply.

Cumberland team manager Ian Sharp said: “We’re all really disappointed to have come this far but not made it to the final.”
