THERE is some exciting cup cricket in store this weekend, with Lindal Moor carrying the hopes of the south of the county into the Higson Cup semi-finals.

The North Lancs and Cumbria Division One leaders take on Keswick at Pennington Lane on Sunday, looking to pull off an upset against their Premier Division opponents.

Paul Wilcock’s side certainly have the talent to get the job done.

Premier Division action tomorrow sees Dalton – fresh from a confidence-restoring victory over relegation rivals Whitehaven – travel to Cockermouth.

Furness will look to keep the pressure on Workington by winning at Keswick while hoping Wigton can upset the leaders.

The Lindal versus Millom clash in Division One has the makings of a an exciting match-up, Haverigg can bounce back from their 27-all-out humiliation against Carlisle by beating Seascale and Kirkby take on Ulverston at the Community Centre.

Runaway Division Two leaders Vickerstown should have too much firepower for Hawcoat Park at Rainey Park.

Northern League action tomorrow sees Barrow aiming to cement their top-three spot in the first division with a home game against fourth-placed Blackpool.
