LIAM Livingstone’s dream debut season in Lancashire’s first-class ranks continued with another brilliant unbeaten century.

The 22-year-old from Barrow hit 106 not out in the second innings of the Red Rose county’s Division One Championship match against Warwickshire.

This followed up an unbeaten 34 in the first innings, meaning Livingstone has already scored 489 runs at an astonishing average of 97.8 in what has been a remarkable breakthrough campaign so far.

Livingstone hit 12 fours and two sixes on his way to 106 not out from 118 balls as Lancashire declared on 266 for 8 on the final day of the
four-day clash at Old Trafford. The match ended in a draw, with Lancashire taking eleven points and Warwickshire 10.

The former Barrow CC star has now scored two centuries and three fifties in the County Championship this year.

His top first-class score so far is 108 not out against Somerset at Taunton last month, while his Twenty20 form has been so good he has been talked about as a potential future England player.
