FURNESS look to keep up their winning ways in Federation of Crown Green Bowls Division Three this weekend.

The South Cumbrian side face Mid Cheshire on Sunday on the back of their 18-14 victory over Ormskirk.

Furness lost their opening match in the Dennis Mowers-sponsored competition 21-11 to divisional favourites Colne Valley, before beating Ormskirk.

Mid Cheshire have yet to record a win, losing 22-10 to Wallasey and 23-9 against Colne Valley.

Sunday's home leg takes place at Barrow Island Bowling Club and the away leg at Castle Private Bowling Club, Northwich.

The match starts at 2pm, with the home team practising from 1.15pm until 1.30pm. Admission is free and all support is welcome.
