MARTIN Aspinwall and Bradd Crellin have both recovered from illness to take their places in the starting 13 for Barrow Raiders as they host Whitehaven in the Kingstone Press League One play-off final this afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

The back row pair were forced to miss last Sunday's 60-0 semi-final victory at home to Newcastle Thunder, but have overcome their illnesses to play. Crellin comes into the second row for the injured Danny Morrow and Aspinwall replaces Dan Toal, who is on the bench, at loose forward.

Nathan Mossop has been given the green light to play as well after missing the Newcastle game due to injury, although Brad Marwood – who scored twice in the semi-final – is on standby.

For Whitehaven, both Craig Calvert and Jessie Joe Parker are named in the starting line-up after picking up injuries in the marathon 21-20 victory over York City Knights in last weekend's semi-final at the Recreation Ground.

It is Calvert's final game for Haven, having decided to retire at the end of the season along with Scott McAvoy and the duo will be aiming to go out on a high.
