Barrow come into the competition along with the rest of the Championship teams – except Toronto Wolfpack – to join the winners of the 13 sides contesting the third round this weekend.
And it is Andrew Henderson who has been charged with pulling the names out of the hat, along with former Challenge Cup winner Rob Parker.
Henderson, now on the coaching staff at Warrington Wolves, having led London Broncos for the past few seasons, had two spells at Craven Park, while he has also played for Newcastle, making it three former clubs in the draw.
Alongside Henderson will be Parker, who lifted the famous trophy in 2003 with Bradford Bulls and won a World Club Challenge in 2004.
He also played for Warrington Wolves, Salford Red Devils and Leigh Centurions during his career. He made his acting debut in BBC One’s Taboo programme last year alongside Tom Hardy and stars in the film Walk Like a Panther , which will be released on March 9.
Amateur outfits Askam and Millom will hope to join their South Cumbrian professional counterparts in the hat, but they each have big tasks in front of them.
Askam welcome League One York City Knights to Fallowfield Park, while Millom make the trip to fellow amateur outfit Pilkington Recs.
The draw will take place live on the BBC Sport website on Tuesday, from 7pm. The fourth round ties will take place over the weekend of February 24 and 25.
