PAUL Crarey and Joe Bullock both missed out on accolades in the Kingstone Press Championship and League One end-of-season awards.

Crarey and Bullock had been among the nominees for the League One coach and player-of-the-year awards respectively, which were announced along with other prizes on Monday evening.

However, the coach-of-the-year award went to Whitehaven's player/coach Carl Forster, who guided the team to a third-place finish in his first full season in charge at the Recreation Ground.

Forster saw off competition from Crarey and York City Knights boss James Ford to take the accolade.

Meanwhile, Toronto Wolfpack's Craig Hall claimed the division's player-of-the-year honour, having ended the club's inaugural season as the division's top points-scorer. He was up against Barrow prop Bullock and Wolfpack team-mate Bob Beswick.

There was one person with a Raiders connection who claimed a prize on the evening at The Midland Hotel, in Manchester.

That was former Barrow hooker and captain Andrew Henderson, who was named Championship coach-of-the-year after guiding London Broncos to a second-place finish and a spot in the Qualifiers.
