BARROW Raiders will again be ball number one when the draw for the sixth round of this season's Ladbrokes Challenge Cup takes place this evening.

Raiders are the only remaining Kingstone Press League One side, and the lowest-ranked team, still in the competition following their 50-28 victory away to York City Knights.

This stage sees the rest of the Super League sides join, with a place in the quarter-finals on the weekend of June 17 and 18 up for grabs.

Barrow will be hoping to get the chance to test themselves against top-flight opposition, with Challenge Cup holders Hull FC and last year's runners-up Warrington Wolves balls number seven and 14 respectively.

Reigning Super League champions Wigan Warriors are ball number 16, while a trip to Perpignan could also be on the cards if the Raiders are paired with Catalans Dragons, who are ball number three.

Other notable numbers are those of Championship sides Hull Kingston Rove (eight) and Swinton Lions (13), who knocked out Super League opposition in Leigh Centurions and Huddersfield Giants respectively over the weekend.

The sixth-round draw takes place from 6.30pm on the BBC News channel's Sportsday programme, and will be conducted by former Challenge Cup winners Chris Joynt and Keith Senior.

All matches are due to be played over the weekend of May 13 and 14, which means Raiders will now face a midweek trip to Keighley Cougars in League One.

The match was originally scheduled for Sunday, May 14, so it has therefore been brought forward four days to Wednesday, May 10, kicking off at 7.30pm.

Bookings are already being taken for the supporters' coach travelling to Cougar Park for the match, costing £15 per seat and leaving Walney Promenade at 4.30pm. Contact the Scott Street office to book seats.
