GOALKEEPER Joel Dixon was stretchered off with suspected knee ligament damage as Barrow AFC beat Guiseley 3-0.
Dixon went down after going up to claim a corner in the 89th minute, with team-mates immediately signalling for the physio to come on.
After extensive treatment, Dixon was carried from the field - with Liam Hughes taking over in goal for the final few minutes.
Speaking after the match, AFC boss Paul Cox said the problem was with Dixon's knee, adding: "We don't know how he is yet. He has landed funny and gone over on his knee.
"We initially feared the worst, but hopefully he is all right and it's not as bad as we expected.
"Whether there is some ligament damage, or something like that, we have to get a scan.
"Your heart is in your mouth when you see a player carried off. We're all thinking about him now."
