BARROW AFC are assessing the fitness of winger Bradley Bauress after he was forced from the field in Tuesday's 2-1 win at Gateshead.
Bauress was substituted late in the second half at the International Stadium after a high-quality display in which he set up Byron Harrison for AFC's opener.
Manager Ady Pennock said after the game they were unsure if the 21-year-old was suffering from a thigh strain or cramp, and he was being assessed on Wednesday by the club's medical staff.
Based on those assessments, a decision will be made on Thursday or Friday as to whether he will be able to feature in Saturday's home match against Bromley.
“We're assessing him today, and we will know more on Thursday or Friday,” said Pennock. “We'll look after him for the next couple of days and see how he is.”
