BARROW AFC have added a third new face to their squad in the space of a day.
Wigan Athletic full-back Luke Burke has joined on loan until the end of the season from the Championship club.
Burke, 18, follows Blackburn Rovers duo Matty Platt and Connor Thomson in joining the Bluebirds ahead of Wednesday's match at Macclesfield Town.
The Latics youngster comes in with AFC right-back Shaun Beeley suspended for three matches, having failed in his appeal against his red card at Aldershot.
Barrow manager Paul Cox said: “He's one we looked at a while back, but he wasn't available. We had to wait for the transfer window to close to try and get him in.
“He's not just coming in to make up the numbers – he has played five times in the Championship already this season, so it just shows his quality.”
