BARROW AFC have signed striker Luke James on loan from Forest Green Rovers.
The 23-year-old goes straight into the AFC squad for tomorrow's National League match at Guiseley, alongside newly-arrived goalkeeper Steve Arnold.
James, who joined Forest Green last summer and who has played 13 times for the League Two side this season, will remain at Holker Street for the rest of the campaign.
He spent his youth career at Hartlepool and became the youngest player to core a league goal for the north easterners when he netted against Rochdale in January 2012.
His form at Victoria Park earned him a move to League One side Peterborough. He had loan spells at Bradford City, Hartlepool United and Bristol Rovers before joining Forest Green.
He was part of the Bristol Rovers team beaten 2-1 by Barrow in the FA Cup second round last season.
