A KEY Barrow AFC duo face a week of waiting to see if they are fit to face York City on Saturday.
Striker Richie Bennett and midfielder Alex-Ray Harvey were both hurt as the Bluebirds defeated Lincoln City 2-1 last weekend.
Bennett scored the opener for Barrow at Sincil Bank, but later hurt his ankle, while Harvey had a problem with his knee.
Neither trained on Tuesday at Hopwood Hall – after the players were given Monday off following their successful exertions in the East of England – with Andy Parry also still sidelined.
Physio Sean Riley will work with them through the week in the hope they can be fit to face the Minstermen at Holker Street.
“Bennett and Al-Ray didn't train, and Andy Parry hasn't trained either,” said Barrow manager Paul Cox.
“Richie went over on his ankle and Al-Ray tweaked his knee ligaments. We'll have to wait and see. Both need to be given as much time as possible to prove their fitness.
“If they're not fit, I'm hoping we'll have somebody champing at the bit on the bench who will want to come in and prove a point.”
