BARROW AFC have signed central midfielder Dan Rowe on loan from league Two Wycombe Wanderers.
The 20-year-old has agreed a one-month stay at Holker Street and comes in as cover for the injured Niall Cowperthwaite.
Cowperthwaite has seen his season ended by a knee injury, with Barrow boss Paul Cox quick to bring in the former Rotherham United and Stalybridge Celtic man.
“Dan is a cultured footballer,” said Cox of a player who signed a three-year seal with Wycombe during the summer. “He can pick a pass and he's very highly regarded by Wycombe.
“He 's a footballer, his strength is his passing and he is somebody who I think will come in and be able to put his foot on the ball and see a pass both short and long.”
Rowe is no relation to either Danny M Rowe or Danny L Rowe, who both wore the Barrow shirt during their last spell in the Conference.
