CAPTAIN Asa Hall is one of five Barrow AFC players to be put up for sale.

Hall has been made available for transfer by the Bluebirds, along with England C international Dan Jones, midfielder Bedsente Gomis, defender Jack Barthram and striker Jordan White.

AFC have revealed their retained and released list, with the expected rebuilding process now under way following the club’s scrape with National League relegation, which saw them survive on the final day of the season.

Star striker Byron Harrison is one of six players released from last season’s squad.

After starring with 22 goals in the 2016-17 campaign, Harrison has not played for Barrow since February, and spent the last few months of the campaign on loan at Sutton United.

He joins Harry Panayiotou, Thierry Audel, David Fitzpatrick, Bradley Bauress and Tony Diagne in being surplus to requirements at Holker Street.

New deals have been offered to home-grown striker Nathan Waterston, and French pair Moussa Diarra and Donovan Makoma. Goalkeepers Steve Arnold and Joel Dixon remain under contract, as is player-coach Grant Holt.
