THE Furness Select football squad are determined to give Barrow AFC a decent workout.
Would not matter if Select had won 3-0, Bayliss would still not be interested, as if they are going to travel down to Rochdale to train!, shambles
The standard of the local kids is poor, we will never find a player like Andy Carrol or Suarez until the local coaching improves,
the PoacherReally Richard? Swarbrick is playing for Barrow tonight against Workington. A bunch of amateurs who work all week and play at weekends against full time players whos job is to play football? thought they held there own on Saturday the Furness Select team. No reason why one or 2 of those players put in a full time team (ie. Barrow) couldnt be successful with other good players around them to bring out the best in them!
so the locals show yet again they are not good enough, and this is why the siccer never sign locals.

Just becauce you haven't been picked no need to spit your dummy out, just support the local talent!Fe-male, calm yourself down, it's only the north-west counties league, that's not a bad standard but i wouldn't get carried away. Also if you play on the Rakesmoor Lane Fell every other week, no wonder you'd want to play on a half-decent pitch, try Biggar Bank though it's alot closer than Cheshire.

Don't fall for a lot of the negatives on here,in the main they are posted by Barrow rugby supporters and local amateurs who could never cut the mustard.
