HUNDREDS of young rugby guns were on the field at Craven Park for the annual Barrow Youth League gala.
Teams from across the area took part in matches at all levels from under-sevens up to under-10s, in the run-up to the two KO Cup finals later in the day.
Hindpool Tigers, Roose Pioneers, Millom, Dalton, Askam, Walney Central, Barrow Island, Ulverston and Marsh Hornets all provided teams for a day of colour and action.
The games were played on a round-robin, non-competitive basis, with the younger age-groups starting things off, and the under-10s wrapping up just after lunch-time to allow the under-12s and under-14s showpieces to take over.
