HUNDREDS of eager rugby league children snapped up the chance to take over Craven Park.
Teams from the Barrow Youth League provided a mass of colour and activity as they played out the annual gala at the home of Barrow Raiders.
Sides from under-sixes up to under-10s took part, with all the clubs in the area sending teams.
Three hours of action, with sides playing in a non-competitive round-robin format, were not spoiled by the wet weather, as the youngsters enjoyed the chance to perform on the big stage.
