CROOKLANDS Casuals lifted the Barrow and District Junior Football League Spring Cup after an unbeaten run through the competition.
The Tangerine dreams defeated local rivals Dalton Juniors 5-2 in the final at Furness College to cap an impressive series of displays.
Cassies won three out of three in the group stages, scoring 10 and keeping keeping a trio of clean-sheets as they defeated Barrow Celtic, Furness Rovers and Vickerstown to advance to the semi-finals.
It was here they came up against their hardest match, facing off with Hawcoat Park Minions. The sides could not be separated after 40 minutes, locked at 1-1 and sending the game to penalties.
After a tense sudden-death shootout, Crooklands advanced 4-3 to set up their showdown with Dalton on the 3G pitch.
Dalton had battled hard to top their group with Millom Reds and Crooklands Blacks.
A 1-1 draw between Millom and Dalton in the opening fixture meant it would be down to the side's respective results against Crooklands to decide who advanced.
Dalton won 4-3 and Millom triumphed 2-1, meaning there was no separating the sides on goal-difference, and it instead went to goals scored, with Dalton topping the group as a result.
They followed up with a 4-2 success against Furness Cavaliers to reach the final.
The runners-up in each group went through to the Shield semi-finals, where Millom Blacks overcame Millom Reds 4-2, and Holker Old Boys defeated Barrow Celtic on penalties.
In the final, it was Old Boys who ran out 2-0 winners to take the Shield.
