HAWCOAT Park face another big hurdle in their North Lancs/Cumbria survival bid tomorrow.

They welcome Oldham to Barrow on a weekend where Millom and Furness hit the road in the Cumbria League.

Ambleside take on Furness A in Cumbria League Two, where Hawcoat A are due to host Whitehaven.

HAWCOAT PARK v OLDHAM

(Hawcoat Park, 3pm)

PARK finally return to home turf as they face the might of Oldham.

The Maroon and Whites had a superb win at Fleetwood last week and the same tomorrow will ease relegation fears further.

A few personnel are missing in the shape of Brad Morrow, Lewis Sayle and Ryan Milner, but Jason Priss, George Hilton, Johnny Burrows and Dan White are back in the fold.

Skipper Adam Grainger will be looking for his troops to keep their foot on the pedal for the full 80 and keep a tight defence.

John Donnan is up for the task, as is ever -resent Ashley Mowatt who should be joined by Callum Ramsey in the second row.

Mike Lightfoot, Will Mallinson and White make up an immense back row more than capable of upsetting the travelling forwards.

Johnny Burrows at scrum half links with James Howden at fly-half, with Chris Burns and Grady Slater in the centres building up as great partnership.

Liam Murray may get the shout out wide, with the returning Hilton going to full-back.

HAWCOAT PARK A v WHITEHAVEN A

(Hawcoat Park, 3pm)

HAWCOAT A are hopeful of a game after being let down again by a non-travelling side last week – though it is a long time since Whitehaven sent a second team for a fixture in Barrow.

The situation with teams not travelling needs to be addressed by the county.

Park still have to prepare for a game and flying the flag from fly-half will be Euan James.

Adam Williamson will be pivotal in getting clean ball from his forwards, with Paul Woodburn returning after a superb performance in the first team.

Rodney Odondi will be looking for plenty of ball out wide to put Whitehaven to the sword, along with Robert Shepherd on the other side of the field.

The second row will be controlled by Martin Kennedy, while Jay Crowe in the centres will get the back line up and running, with Pete Jennens and Ethan Vial never far from the action.

EGREMONT v MILLOM

MILLOM travel up the coast to face second-placed Egremont having pushed league leaders Workington hard in defeat last week.

They have a strong squad, with Tony Swales joining Dean Doyle and Steve Watson in the front row and former front-rower Kevin Rogan moving into the second row to partner young Joe Thomlinson.

Also returning is Dean Readhead to stiffen up the back row.

Chris Park moves back to his favoured scrum half role from the wing and teams up with centre star Ryan Carter.

One big shock in the back division sees Ian Cummings at centre where will punch holes in the Egremont defensive line.

The wide men are Steven Forster and Parks, who between them will need to be on their toes. Craig Mounsey makes up the back line.

FURNESS A v AMBLESIDE

(Strawberry Grounds, 3pm)

AMBLESIDE lock horns with Furness on the back of a superb 55-5 home victory against Carlisle.

Try-scorers Dan Addison and Dan Routledge will be hopeful of starting, backing up everything they did against Carlisle.

The back row trio of Dave Clarke, try-scorer Pip Houghton and Rory Seekings will have to be on top form to stop Furness getting quick ball out to their pacy back line.

The kicking of Keenan Longster, along with his all-round game, will be key to the Galava Park side.

The men clearing out the ruck, Steve Bragg, Gregg Stephenson and Paul Aires, have been immense this season and have been keeping the continuity of the side in place.

Tim Horsfal and Rory Townsend are on top form, so plenty of ball out wide will result in points scored. With Simeon Lee at full-back, the squad looks strong again.

There was no team sheet available from Furness A.

MORESBY v FURNESS

THE Blues are on the road after a weekend off as they go west to play Moresby.

Furness will be looking to hit the road running to put their counterparts on the back foot.

Missing from the squad are Corne Els, Sam Dutton, Sam Attard, Arron Pike and Craig McKinnon, but back in the team will be wing man Tez Nueto, who has been sorely missed over the last few weeks.

Also in the team is James Tyson, who will be hopeful of pulling on one of the second row jerseys on offer.

Steve Perry will control things from fly-half and will look for good balls from his forwards to help get the back division away.

Club captain Joe Mallinson has been switching between forwards and backs and his importance in the team is there for all to see.

The dynamic play of stalwart Rhys Studt has been a godsend for the team all season, with his strong running and handling game meaning there are always tries on hand for anyone running off his shoulder.

The front row could be key, with Dillon Tapatu, Cameron McClure and Adam Pearce favourite for the shirts, with big Martin Ward on standby.

George Smith at full-back will be needed to cover the park to not only help out in defence but go on rampant attacks, with wingman Will Hetherington never far from play.

Young centre Iestyn Humphries is a handful and will be looking for early ball to run at the ensuing defence.
