HUNDREDS of young footballers came together at Haverigg United for the club’s annual six-a-side competition.
Enjoying the summer sunshine, teams from across South and West Cumbria enjoyed the action over two days of matches.
Sides from under-sevens up to under-14s took part, with matches for the younger children played on a non-competitive format and those for the older age groups contesting trophies.
Some players and families camped overnight at Wilson Park so they could enjoy both days.
