THE sharp-shooting Dalton Girls under-12s B-team stormed to victory in their Barrow And District Junior Girls Football League KO Cup semi-final clash against Ulverston Rangers Girls.
Playing on the excellent 3G surface at Furness College, Tilly Bibby was the goal-scoring hero for Dalton as she grabbed a brilliant hat-trick in a 5-0 victory against a hard-working Ulverston side who showed plenty of spirit and never gave up.
Also on the scoresheet for the victors were Macey Bland and Millie Rushforth, while Dalton goalkeeper Keely Woolveridge and her solid defence had to play well to ensure they didn't concede any goals and progressed to the final.
In the League, Dalton Aces and Ulverston Rangers shared the spoils in an entertaining 2-2 draw at Furness College.
Both the Dalton goals were scored by Aaliyah Petcher, while Elle Graham grabbed a brace for Ulverston in what was an evenly-matched encounter featuring two talented teams.
