DEREK Hadley rolled back the years with a superb display of rugby league for the Barrow Masters side.
Former Barrow RL loose forward Hadley picked up the Master-of-the-Game award as Barrow battled West Cumbria in Arlecdon.
A great game, played in the right spirit, saw a host of former amateur and professional players – all aged 35 and up – taking part.
Next up for the Barrow team is the Leeds Festival on Saturday, July 9, followed by the Crosfields Festival on Saturday, August 12 and the National Festival at Blackpool on Saturday, September 10.
There is also a possibility of other fixtures being added.
The team get together on most Monday evenings, throughout the season, at Redwaters, starting at 7pm, for a game of touch RL and a light training session.
They are also looking for potential sponsors of a new playing kit and leisurewear.
Anyone who would like to sponsor Barrow Masters RL or become involved in any way can contact Shaun McPoland on 07720 849306 or visit the Barrow and District Masters Facebook page.
