KEEN young golfers who have been bitten by the bug are being given the chance to take their interest a step further tomorrow.

Barrow Golf Club, and professional Paul Rawlinson, and opening their doors for a free coaching sessions for children who have been taking part in the schools' Tri-Golf competition.

The Furness finals for Years 34 and Years 5/6 took place at Hoops yesterday, with hundreds of eager pupils showing off their skills in a series of tests and games.

Rawlinson has worked with children in schools across the borough over the past nine months, and anyone who has taken part in those coaching sessions has been invited to have a taste of the set-up at Barrow.

There will be a free coaching session for the primary school children at the Rakesmoor Lane club, starting at 2.30pm, and all are welcome.
