MILLOM came out on top in the Cumbrian derby game with Ellenborough Rangers.

Millom claimed a 18-10 victory at Devonshire Road after leading 12-6 at the break.

It was a close encounter with both teams going into the game on four points.

The win takes the Woolybacks into sixth place in Division Two of the National Conference.

Tries came from Adam Kelly, Aiden Wilson and man of the match Jonathan Hodgson, with Lee Postlethwaite adding three conversions.

In the North West Men’s League, Ulverston were winners at Dragley Beck defeating Hindley 20-18 after leading 8-6 at half time.

Tries came via Matt Dean, Kieron Potter, Liam Saunders and Jack Aiken with two goals from the boot of Jai Smoothy.

At Redwaters, Roose Pioneers defeated Leigh Miners “A” 30-16, tries coming from Rickie Donaghue 2, Josh McConnell, Tom Farren and Matty Roberts, who added five goals.

In the Barrow and District, Hindpool travelled to Millom and ran in 54 points without reply.
