BARROW AFC's match against Bradford City has been called off.

Match officials made the decision to postpone the Sky Bet League Two fixture just one hour before kick-off due to an unplayable pitch.

A rearranged date for the fixture and ticket information for the match will be released in due course.

As a result of the postponement, the club will now conduct an open training session this afternoon at the SO Legal Stadium instead.

Announcing the news on social media, the club said: “We believe the pitch is in a playable state and are extremely disappointed by this outcome.

“Following this matter, we’ll put a complaint towards the EFL.”
