River ladies are in full flow

RED River won 10-4 at West Shore in the Ladies Evening League, with juniors Leanne Rigg, Emelie Aspinall and Becky Hunter winning well.
WOMEN’S BOWLS
Sheila Swinglehurst and Dot Heywood were the only winners for Furness Abbey when they played the Co-op.
Kay Baker, Ann Radford, Liz Dawes and Mona Logan all had single-figure wins for the Co-op.
King Alfred are still going well at the top of the league, only dropping one game against Roose, Elaine Dawson being the visitors’ only winner.
Linda Valentine won well for Dalton Cons this week when they beat Askam 9-4.
Helen Pickthall and Gwen Bell just lost out for Askam.
Hawcoat Park just won the aggregate against Barrow Island, mainly due to a good win by Ann France.
Janet Moxham had a good win at the top of the sheet for the home team.
The junior Clark sisters are playing well for Lindal, Sophie won, but Zoe just lost to 20 this week when they played at West Mount.
West Mount won the game 8-5, with good wins from Jean Pike and Pat Thompson.
Glaxo won their first game of the season, beating Kirkby 7-6.
Three good wins by B Rudd, J Nevison and Maureen Atkinson helped their win.
