Second award for Carlisle car dealership man

A 22-year-old is being tipped for the top after landing a second major award.
Kallum Low has already set out his stall as a rising star at a Carlisle car dealership. But he is also making his mark nationally.
The 22-year-old, of Stanwix, is part of the after sales and service team at Lloyd Carlisle for Volvo on Chandler Way, part of the Lloyd Motor Group.
He has picked up an Outstanding Achievers Award from the Institute of the Motoring Industry (IMI), the lead award body for the motor industry.
Despite just two years in the job, colleagues say Kallum is so professional customers mistake him for the manager of his section.
Keith Graham, Lloyd Carlisle for Volvo service manager, describes him as: “The best service advisor I’ve seen in 15 years.”
He added: “Kallum’s work, attitude and reputation are now an example to others. He fully deserves these awards. He’s proved one of the best appointments we have ever made. An absolute asset to the business.
“The work he has produced for his qualification has been of such a high standard that it has been used as an example of best practice for another training centre.”
Earlier this year, Kallum scooped the Volvo Customer Service Apprentice of the Year Award 2012.
Proud Kallum, a former pupil of St Aidan’s School, said: “I’m absolutely overjoyed to have received this second award. I really didn’t expect it at all. Winning the IMI award ahead of so many other candidates from around the country is just fantastic.”
“I love every aspect of the job and pride myself on going out of my way to help customers.”
Kallum has ambitions of becoming service manager.
