Barrow Raiders rally to beat North Wales with video and pictures

Have your say

I am with Ron here, why go for the title next season ? After all it does not get you promoted to the SL does it, IMHO It would be a waste of money to bring in several out of town/overseas players into the club and have a possible negative affect of the squad morale, many of this seasons players are experiencing their 1st ever semi-pro campaign & are still learning their craft, let them carry on in the higher league to gauge their progression, sure add a couple of new players into the mix but keep this improving squad and let them enjoy 1 season of adjustment without pressure then bang on the following season battle ready and hungry for glory, slow and steady improvement on and off the field is required to build a solid foundation before we go for a SL place in future.

hey ron,

stop being so negatife. ive said before that barrow have playors at the club who are capabbel of playing at the league above. james gordon is definately one. barrow were struggling on sunday and it took bringin him on to swing it for barrow. he is a real warhorse. i also like dan toal who looks like he could do it at better standord.
my favorite player was pat trainer and i wish we had some more playors like him at the moment.

good look barrow, lets win the titel now!

Hey Neil,
Talk of winning the Championship is premature.
Next season should be one of consolidation.
We, like other teams have tried to go all out to win prizes at no matter what the cost.
There is no relegation next year so that gives us the opportunity to grow within our means.
We are now fortunate that in this Board and Coach set up we have the right people in place to set us on the right road.

First well done again. It has been a great achievment this year to be were Barrow are in the division and they will either win it or be second. But this side is not good enough to do the same next year and the question is how do we compete at the next level? Without financial backing and some out of town players/overseas it will be impossible to win the division next year. Anyway I will not take any credit away from the guys and the coaches as they deserve all the credit. I just hope they have a plan for next year.
