FORWARD Andy Bracek will depart Barrow Raiders after the play-offs and join Halifax.
The Halifax Courier says Bracek’s recruitment was announced at the club’s Starman awards bash last night (Saturday).
Fax boss Karl Harrison is reported as saying: "“Andy’s played Super League at a young age, he’s played Super League for the Crusaders last season and he’s been at the top of the Championship with Barrow.
“When I spoke to him, I couldn’t believe he is only 25.
“He has been around the game for a long time but hopefully his best years are still in front of him.
“He is excited by the opportunity we have offered him; the deal was done very quickly, there was no arguing, he was just very keen to come here.”
Bracek Tweeted: "Looking forward to gettin started for @Halifax_RLFC but still a small matter of playoffs with @BarrowRaiders."
