Barrow Raiders fall to Doncaster defeat with pictures & video highlights

Have your say

Good old Cuffy, the man!with the silly name.I wondered how long it would be before groundsharing raises its head again-happens every time the rugby find themselves struggling. And Cuffy, that Barrow Soccer hater-had to mention it first.

For once juvenile John, I actually agree with you, both teams should ground share at a new probably 6-8000 stadium, built on the same principles that Warrington have where half of ground is seated and other half is standing.
And for what it's worth, any extra support from fans even just at finals is still support and should not be knocked.

Bayliss isn't the problem Cuffy as well you know, who would you expect AFC to bring in as a replacement - Mourihno? Mancini? The problem is with resources and an apathetic public in Barrow who don't consider local sporting fare value for money unless it's a big cup game. I think the two codes need to amalgamate, sell their stadiums and fund a new purpose built one which can incorporate other partner organisations. It's the only way any of the town's professional clubs can progress with purpose. However, human nature being what it is, nobody is promoting this obvious move for fear of losing power over their ever-diminishing assets.

Chill your beans juvenile John, locals have always served the raiders well. They have moved into a league which is probably the equivalent of afc moving into the championship of football. It is inevitable that they are going to struggle. Just look at afc now, struggling in a poor league where the raiders are struggling in a decent league.
The locals are not good enough in this league, only 1 or 2 for me would be in my side.
Afc need to realise that 8-1 defeats help nobody, players, coaches, fans and most importantly the press. Afc have been made a joke of especially Sunday night on skysportsnews, it was embarrassing to watch and listen to the Mansfield manager get an Austin Martin. We need to get bayliss a one way taxi fare out of holker st.

cuffy, come clean your a dyed in the wool craven parker.

Cuffy you have been extolling the benefits of having so many locals in the side for months, now you don't think it such a good idea? And don't forget AFC have been competing on a nation-wide basis for 5 years now - not in a parochial northern based game like RL.

Oh Ramon you numbskull, is it allowed to support the soccer and rugby in your home town? I do. I'm not small minded like you where you pretend you want the rugby to succeed but on other threads you say you hope they get relegated.
If you read some of my previous comments, you will realise that I have mentioned afc players, Rutherford for one where I mentioned that I was encouraging him. Birdbrain will back me up on that one.
I don't feel I should reply to morons like you Ramon but I feel I have to, I'd just like to say, please get your head out the clouds and give it a shake.

It was always on the cards that this keyboard critic with the silly name'cuffy' was going to give himself away sooner or later, know how he did it?,by mentioning three players by name.He even uses his comments on the Raiders to criticise Barrow AFC-and that's his real agenda,to put AFC down. How many times in the past when reading his criticism's of AFC can anyone recall him mentioning a players name !,not once,he never goes near Holker Street he is unfortunatley one of those dyed in the wool craven parkers who loves to snipe at the soccer.I personally hold no grudge against the raiders and hope Holty can turn it around for their club and the town.I await an extremely silly reply from the man with the silly name 'cuffy'.
