A builder who helped construct Carlisle’s Linton Grove development has been given the highest accolade a site manager can get.
Richard Graham has been awarded an National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Quality Award for his work at the Persimmon Homes estate.
He said he was delighted to have been given the award for the work he started three years ago at the site off London Road.
“It is nice to be recognised for the site leadership, quality of homes we are building and consideration for the customers,” he said. “I have a great team working in the site.”
Richard, 43, has worked for the company for 11 years and worked on a number of developments.
Mark Cook, managing director of Persimmon Homes Lancashire, said: “A Pride in the Job Award is the highest industry accolade a site manager can receive. Persimmon Homes demand the very highest standards of quality and service for customers, and Richard’s contribution is a superb example of this philosophy.
“We are very proud that one of our team has had his outstanding professionalism rewarded with this national recognition.”
The award celebrates the unique role of site managers in the construction of new homes from start to finish. The awards programme is the only UK-wide competition dedicated to recognising site managers who achieve the highest standards.
