Water restored to properties in Ulverston

HOMES and businesses in Ulverston have had their water restored, following a burst pipe.

Engineers from United Utilities attended the scene of a burst water pipe in Stott Park Bobbin Mill, which was the cause for nearby homes having no water or just a trickle.

Water was restored by 3pm yesterday.

A spokesperson from United Utilities said: "Our team of engineers has finished repairing the leaking pipe on Stott Park Bobbin Mill and the water should now be flowing normally again through your taps.

"We’re sorry if this has affected you and thank you for your patience."
