RESIDENTS on Walney have called for kids to be more considerate and to take their litter home with them.
Dog-walkers and residents have criticised groups of youths who appear to congregate on the sand dunes on Walney in the evenings.
Some have reported finding piles of litter, including broken bottles, around the popular walking spots on the island.
One said on Twitter: "Animals partying up the sand dunes on Walney must be so proud of all the bottles smashed and the litter strewn."
Anyone who has information about litter dumping or fly-tipping can report it to Barrow Borough Council's Streetcare team on 01229 876440.
