Walney students are going 'Under the sea' with a showstopping production over three days next week.
Walney School is staging The Little Mermaid from Tuesday July 12 to Thursday July 14.
Inspired by the Disney favourite, the students will present the fairy tale of mermaid princess Ariel, played by Veronica Wetherow, who dreams of becoming human.
The show features toe-tapping numbers including Under the Sea and ballad Part of Your World.
Ariel makes a deal with sea witch Ursula, played by Kathryn Bell. The mermaid is transformed into a human for three days but in exchange for her voice.
Ariel then bids to win the heart of Prince Eric, played by Alex McCormack, so she can remain as a human.
Her fish friend, Flounder, is played by Caitlyn Taylor and Kieran McCormack plays Sebastian the crab.
The school production is directed by Michelle Larcombe the head of performing arts at Walney School.
The shows start at 6.30pm. Adult tickets cost £6 and tickets for concessions cost £3
