A WALNEY motorcyclist has been left devastated after his brand-new motorbike was stolen from outside his home.

Joshua Livesey woke up on the morning of Tuesday August 9 to discover his £3,000 KTM RC125 motorbike had been stolen from outside his home in Trent Vale.

Mr Livesey, 22, had only bought the bike six weeks earlier, from a dealership in Kendal. It was his first bike, having passed his test last October.

He said: "Whoever took it has snapped the steering lock so we think someone's put it in the back of a van. I'm gutted."

The bike was taken some time between midnight and 6.30am on Tuesday August 9. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
