A MAN has been fined £75 after stealing two bottles of wine from a newsagents.
James William Armstrong, 49, of Dominion Street, Walney pleaded guilty to one charge of theft when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow on January 10.
He stole a bottle of Cassini wine and a bottle of Echo Falls Rose wine worth £8.48 from Batty's Newsagents on June 26.
Armstrong was ordered to pay compensation of £8.48 and court costs of £85.
