A WALNEY man who was allegedly almost double the legal limit when he drove his car is due to appear at Furness Magistrates' Court today.
Robert Lauderdale, 32, is said to have driven a silver Ford Mondeo in Westshore Road while under the influence on September 9, 2016.
Lauderdale, of Conway Gardens, Walney was breathalysed and measured at 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, 35 is the limit.
The 32-year-old is expected to enter a plea today to one charge of driving a motor vehicle while over the legal limit of alcohol.
