A MAN from Walney is due to appear in court accused of failing to pay a taxi driver and a racially aggravated public order offence.
David Blagburn, of Vicarage Mount, Walney, will appear at Furness Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
The 46-year-old is accused of making off without paying a taxi driver a fare of £11.80 and of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour which was racist in nature.
Both offences are alleged to have happened on January 1 of this year in Barrow.
