Walney firefighters tackle flooding at care home
FIREFIGHTERS from Walney were called to reports of flooding at a care home.
Just after 3.30am this morning, the on-call crew from Walney were called to Tarn House in Mill Lane after a pipe burst and floodwater and at risk of damaging the electrics.
Firefighters located an external isolation tap and stopped the flow of water. The crew then removed the floodwater.
