Walk: Piel Island
A GUIDED walk will be held across the sands to Piel Island on Thursday.
Jonn Murphy will lead the walk, he has timed this so that people will return to Walney walking into the setting sun.
Mr Murphy is asking people to congregate on Walney promenade adjacent to The King Alfred at 6pm.
The gentle stroll will take a couple of miles each way.
