A TEENAGER from Walney is due to appear in court accused of raping a boy under the age of 13.
Kane Lee Greenwood is alleged to have carried out the offence in Barrow between October 1 in 2014 and June 1 in 2015.
The 19-year-old has previously pleaded not guilty and a five-day trial has been scheduled to take place at Preston on February 12.
Tomorrow a ground rules hearing, to determine the measures used during the trial to allow vulnerable witnesses to give evidence, will be held at Preston Crown Court.
Greenwood is on conditional bail which includes conditions preventing him from having any unsupervised contact with any child aged under 16 and from contacting the witnesses.
