Presence: Police in Thames Road on Walney
PROSECUTORS are due to make a decision whether or not to charge two men in connection with an assault which took place on Walney.
A 39-year-old man was taken to Furness General Hospital with a serious head injury after an alleged assault at an address in Thames Road.
Police were called to the address at 8.20am on Sunday and later arrested two men, aged 30 and 38, in connection with the alleged attack.
It is understood that the two men have been questioned and police have passed a file to prosecutors to consider charging the pair.
The alleged victim has since been discharged from hospital.
